1. Scope of Coordination & Facilitation Services
Indian Companion operates as an on-ground logistics facilitation, translation liaison, and partner-coordination platform for international visitors to India. Our services are strictly defined as follows:
- Assigning identity-verified local companions for dialect translation, airport meet-and-greets, local transit navigation, and meeting logistics.
- Liaising with JCI-accredited medical networks for pre-treatment appointments and admission logs.
- Assisting with visa invitation documentation, municipal authority coordinates, and local orientation guide plans.
CRITICAL NOTICE: Indian Companion is a facilitation, coordination, and networking platform. All direct on-ground treatments, legal consultations, housing brokerage, and commercial transport operations are delivered exclusively by independent, licensed third-party partners. We are not a direct transport carrier, hotel manager, or medical treatment provider.
2. Safety Protocols & Location Tracking
To guarantee the safety of international professionals:
- Temporary Location Sharing: Visitors may opt-in to temporary GPS sharing during transit routes. This data is used solely for emergency tracking and is deleted 48 hours after your trip completes.
- Companion Vetting: All local companions undergo multi-level background checks, local police verification, and safety coordination briefing.
- Hotline support: The 24/7 emergency helpline is strictly reserved for coordinating medical, legal, and transit emergencies with licensed third-party dispatchers and national embassies.
3. Medical Admissions & Hospital Liaison
For visitors requiring medical treatment:
- We coordinate admissions exclusively with JCI-accredited, licensed private hospital networks (including Apollo, Max, Fortis, Medanta).
- Companions provide dialect translation, administrative filing coordination, and bedside companion support, but cannot sign medical consent or take medical liability on behalf of the visitor or hospital.
- Indian Companion does not practice medicine, make diagnoses, or operate health clinics.
4. Billing, Rescheduling, and Refund Terms
All booking and coordination agreements are governed by the following financial schedule:
- Cancellation: Full refunds are available up to 7 days before scheduled arrival. 50% refunds are available up to 48 hours before arrival. Within 48 hours, cancellations are non-refundable.
- Visa Rejection: If your e-Visa is officially rejected, we provide a full refund minus a 5% administrative charge, provided notification is given 72 hours before arrival.
- Flight Delays: We do not charge extra coordination fees for delays. Your coordinator will adjust airport/station pickup windows accordingly based on flight numbers.
